February 25, 2012: My Constant Companion

Ernie Schmeckel won’t let me out of his sight ever since I got back from Ohio. This morning he was sitting on my lap and I said, “Kitty, I have to go make breakfast for my parents now. Bye-bye time! Bye! Come on, get up. Bye-bye!”

He jumped off my lap and shot me a look that clearly said, “Fuck you. You’re always leaving. Do you have any idea what my day is like with no laps to sit on?”

            I felt bad for him.

Thing I Hate Today: Having to leave the house every morning.
